ADS B 2018 Portland Studio, Hiroyuki Sasaki

This studio focuses on 200’ by 200’ city blocks in Portland and the provision of public open space with associated structures on those blocks. Each student shall select one 200’ by 200’ city block that is conceived to contribute to the creation of a better district or neighborhood with a conversion of the block to a public open space based on their research on existing urban fabric, and propose a design of public open space with associated structures that supplement the function of the public space.
