Lecturer Yujin Hirase

Yujin HIRASE was born in Tokyo in 1976, he received Dr. Arch., M. Arch. and B. Arch. from Waseda University. After his graduation he had been an assistant at Waseda University and collaborations with Prof. Nobuaki Furuya and NASCA. He established yHa architects since 2007 and worked in Switzerland as a Japanese Government (Agency for Cultural Affairs) Overseas Study Program for Artists during 2007-08. Since 2008 he is an Associate Professor at Saga University.

He has also received numerous awards including Selected Architectural Designs 2017 / 2021-22 (Architectural Institute of Japan), the Award for Excellent Architecture 2015 / 2019 (The Japan Institute of Architects), JIA AWARD Grand Prix 2016 (Japan Interior Designers' Association), Good Design Award 2016 /
020, SD Review 2014 / 2019.
